Hearken to the Voice of YAHWEHBehold, to obey is better than offerings, and to hearken than the fat of rams.Hearken now unto MY voice, I will give you counsel, and YAHWEH shall be with you: Moshe hearkened unto the voice of his father-in-law Jethro in the matter of judging the people in Shemoth (Exodus) 18. By hearkening and obeying it went well with him. When You Do Not Hearken Your Heart Gets HardPharaoh did not hearken at all unto Moshe's voice and when you do not hearken your heart gets hard. Them that call upon YAHWEH shall be delivered. YAHWEH will protect and keep HIS people just like HE kept the children of Yisrael through all the plagues in Egypt. YAHWEH's people were blessed for not one plaque came upon them that hearkened. That should encourage the people of YAHWEH today. The Definition Of HearkenThe Hebrew Concordance defines hearken as; to listen, give heed, to consent, agree, to grant request, to listen to, yield to, to obey, be obedient. To hearken you have to really listen. You have to give all your heart and soul into it and YAHWEH will help you with it. You must diligently seek out HIS Word and walk in it. Hearken Diligently Unto YAHWEH's CommandmentsAnd it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto MY Commandments which I command you this day, to love YAHWEH your ABBA, and to serve HIM with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in thy corn, and your wine, and your oil. YAHWEH will bless our land and our cattle if we hearken and keep HIS TORAH. Wherefore it shall come to pass, if you hearken to these judgments, and keep,
and do them, that YAHWEH YOUR ABBA shall keep unto you the Covenant and the
mercy which HE sware unto your fathers:
