YAHWEH's Feast of Trumpets
Sound The Alarm
And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the shofar exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
For YAHSHUA HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of
the archangel, and with the trump of YAHWEH: and the dead in MessiYah
shall rise first: 1 TESLONIQYAH 4:16 The shofar shall sound and it is the
great event of all creation. YAHSHUA is coming for the jewels of YAHWEH, for
those that HE has died for, and in that death are the promises of YAHWEH. The
memorial of YAHWEH's Feasts and gatherings are to constantly remind us of these
great events that shall come. YAHSHUA will come, with great power and authority,
for those that are in HIM.
The trumpet is used to give instructions and commands
The trumpet's main characteristic is that it gives a loud clear sharp sound
that carries a great distance, far greater than a voice could carry. Today we
see trumpets used in military bands and in the old days the trumpets were used, because
of their loud clear sound, to give instructions and commands, which put fear
into the enemy of the army. An excellent example is in the day of YAHSHUA Ben
Nun marching around the walls of Jericho, he used the shofar to bring about fear
in the enemy. (A shofar is a ram's horn, which is not made by hands.)
The sound of the shofar brought about a fear of YAHWEH to the people
When the Yisraelites were assembled on Mt. Sinai the very first thing that
they heard was the sound of the shofar. The loud sound brought about a fear of
YAHWEH to the people. "And when the voice of the shofar sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Mosheh spoke, and YAHWEH answered him by a voice."
YAHWEH used the shofar to get all the peoples' attention before HE spoke to them
for the first time. (The estimated number of people there were about five
million.)
YAHWEH gave the men wisdom
One thing that YAHWEH instructed Mosheh to do was to make two pure silver
trumpets. "Make you two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shall you make them: that you may use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps."
The unique thing about these trumpets is that YAHWEH instructed Mosheh to made
each one out of a single piece of silver that was to be beaten to form the
trumpet. YAHWEH gave the men wisdom on how to accomplish this task. YAHWEH also
gave Mosheh instructions on how and for what these trumpets were to be used for.
(Bemidbar 10:3-10) Can you picture five million people going in the desert, how
do you get them to turn? How do you get them to go where you want them to go?
YAHWEH gave the men wisdom to use these loud trumpets to move the people and to
alert them for assembly and danger.
The sounding of the shofar an ordinance forever
"And the sons of Aaron, the kohen, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance forever throughout your generations."
It was the duty of the kohen to use the trumpet to sound the alarm, and was to
be so forever. It was not for someone else to do and YAHSHUA is our high kohen.
In the Renewed Covenant Yochanan the Baptizer was the first one to use the
trumpet to sound the alarm, as one crying in the wilderness preparing the way
for YAHSHUA. Today YAHWEH has HIS kohen blowing the trumpets; prepare your
hearts, get right with YAHWEH, for YAHSHUA is getting ready for the marriage
feast. From the Feast of Trumpets until the Day of Atonement there are 10 days
of preparation to cleanse our hearts and minds to be ready to meet YAHSHUA.
Get you ready for MessiYah's return for HIS bride
In the natural there is always much preparation of the heart for a marriage
feast. For there to be a oneness there must not be any hidden things between the
two to be married. The natural marriage is a type and shadow of the relationship
that we are going to have with YAHSHUA. We are now in the preparation time, the
trumpet shall sound, so get you ready for MessiYah's return for HIS bride.
"Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your shalom offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before YAHWEH your ABBA: I AM YAHWEH your ABBA."
