YAHWEH is dealing with" This People". There is an evil in the land that surpasses all evil. This evil is instituted because we reject what scripture instructs. YAHWEH identifies This People as a certain group. We are a people that accuses others, but we never deal with "this persons" issues in your own heart. "This evil people, which refuse to hear MY Words, which walk in the imagination of their own heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is profitable for nothing..." When a people are evil, they refuse to hear, because there is no willingness. The reason one cannot hear, is because they refuse to.
When We Reject Torah, We Reject YAHWEH.
HIS Word is an instruction to show us how to please HIM. The Word of YAHWEH quickens, and makes alive. MessiYah fulfilled the power of the Torah. The Word of YAHWEH should be in the bosom of our heart continually. When we reject Torah, we reject YAHWEH. A wise man receives instruction, he hears. The judgment of YAHWEH must be understood, and taught; and the people of YAHWEH understand not judgment. The judgment is the fullness of YAHWEH's expressions. YAHWEH has commanded us to keep all his commandments and statutes, according to the Torah. "This People knew not YAHWEH, but to do evil, they do well.
