The Importance Of Pasach
The Feast Of Unleaven
We Must Remove The Leaven From Our Lev And Receive YAHSHUA
The Passover Lamb
Contents Of Sermon Message:
The word miqra' has more in depth meaning than convocation. It
is a time whereby there is a visitation of Almighty YAH. YAHWEH instituted
Pasach unto the Yisraelites in a mighty way. (Exodus 12:1-5) HE spoke to Moshe
and Aharon concerning which day would be set aside for the Pasach. They were
commanded to speak to all the Yisraelites the instructions given by YAH
concerning the Pasach.
They were commanded to take a lamb without any blemish and a
male of the first year. This is very interesting because we know that YAHSHUA is
the first born of Almighty YAH. HE was the Passover for Yisrael. We know that we
were not redeemed by something that was corruptible but we were redeemed by the
pure offering of YAHSHUA haMessiYAH. (1 Peter 1:18,19) It would be a tremendous
burden today if we all had to find a Passover lamb. YAHSHUA became this
sacrifice for us. Nothing can destroy the power of this sacrifice for us. The
death malakim has no power over us because we have been redeemed by the
incorruptible Lamb.
The Yisraelites were commanded to eat unleavened bread for seven
days. They were commanded to even remove it from their houses. Those who partook
of the leavened bread were cut off. (Exodus 12:15,16) We are commanded today to
search our lev and remove any leaven that permits us from walking in the
presence of YAH. We must have the same obedience in removing the leaven from our
lives. These are acts of faith that may seem miniscule but they are tremendous in
their importance. We are commanded to purge out the old leaven of malice and
wickedness and receive YAHSHUA as the Pasach for us. (1 Corinthians 5:8)
YAHSHUA also kept the Pasach according to the Scripture.
(Matthew 26:18; Luke 2:41) YAHSHUA commanded the disciples to prepare the
Passover lamb. We keep the Passover in the same way in the power of YAHWEH'S
NAME.
When those that had been crucified were to be brought down for
the Shabbat they would have their legs broken to speed death. When the soldiers
came to YAHSHUA HE was already dead. This was because YHWH commanded that the
Passover lamb not remain until the morning. If YAHSHUA had remained on the stake
HE would not have fulfilled the Will of YAH. Corruption would have set in. HE
was the First Fruit of Pasach and without HIM we have no fruit at all. (Acts
26:21-23) YHWH has put HIS NAME in YAHSHUA. Without YAHSHUA there is no Passover
lamb for us. We must keep Pasach by faith as Moshe and believe that the sprinkling
of the blood of YAHSHUA is our cleansing for sins. (Hebrews 11:28)
Nuggets: YHWH has put HIS NAME in YAHSHUA. Without YAHSHUA there
is no Passover lamb for us.
