To Take Heed Of Indulging A Sinful Temper

GALUTYAH - GALATIANS 5:13-26

13 ś For, brethren, you have been called to liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the torah is fulfilled in one Word, even in this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
15 But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you be not consumed one of another.

To Walk In The Spirit, And Not To Fulfill The Lusts Of The Flesh:

16 This I say then, Walk in the Ruach, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Ruach, and the Ruach against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would.
18 But if you be led of the Ruach, you are not under the torah.

The Works Of the Flesh and Ruach Are Described

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of YAHWEH.
22 But the fruit of the Ruach is love, joy, shalom, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no torah.
24 And they that are MessiYah's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Ruach, let us also walk in the Ruach.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain splendor, provoking one another, envying one another.

Exhortations To Meekness, Gentleness, And Humility

GALUTYAH - GALATIANS 6:1-10

1 ś Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such an one in the ruach of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
2 Bear you one another's burdens, and so fulfill the torah of ha MessiYah.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.

To Kindness Towards All Men, Especially Believers

6 Let him that is taught in the Word communicate to him that teaches in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; YAHWEH is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Ruach shall of the Ruach reap Life Everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to them who are of the household of faith.

The Abominable Idolatries Of The Jewish Nation

YESHAYAH - ISAIAH 57:3-12

3 ś But draw near to ME, you sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
4 Against whom do you sport yourselves? against whom make you a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are you not the children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
6 Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion; they, they are your lot: even to them have you poured a drink offering, you have offered a grain offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
7 Upon a lofty and high mountain have you set your bed: even thither went you up to offer sacrifice.
8 Behind the doors also and the posts have you set up your remembrance: for you have discovered yourself to another than me, and are gone up; you have enlarged your bed, and made you a covenant with them; you loved their bed where you saw it.
9 And you went to the king with ointment, and did increase your perfumes, and did send your messengers far off, and did debase yourself even to hell.
10 You are wearied in the greatness of your way; yet said you not, There is no hope: you have found the life of your hand; therefore you were not grieved.
11 And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied, and has not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and you fear me not?
12 I will declare your righteousness, and your works; for they shall not profit you.

The Idea Of Making Idols was the Beginning of Fornication, and the Invention of them was the Corruption of Life

WISDOM 14:7-15

For blessed is the wood by which righteousness comes.
8 But the idol made with hands is accursed, and so is he who made it; because he did the work, and the perishable thing was named a god.
9 For equally hateful to YAHWEH are the un-kodesh man and his unkodeshness,
10 for what was done will be punished together with him who did it.
11 Therefore there will be a visitation also upon the heathen idols, because, though part of what YAHWEH created, they became an abomination, and became traps for the souls of men and a snare to the feet of the foolish.
12 For the idea of making idols was the beginning of fornication, and the invention of them was the corruption of life,
13 for neither have they existed from the beginning nor will they exist forever.
14 For through the vanity of men they entered the world, and therefore their speedy end has been planned.
15 For a father, consumed with grief at an untimely bereavement, made an image of his child, who had been suddenly taken from him; and he now honored as a god what was once a dead human being, and handed on to his dependents secret rites and initiations.

Our Whoredoms have Angered YAHWEH

YEHEZQEL - EZEKIEL 16:23-44

23 And it came to pass after all your wickedness, woe, woe to you! saith the Sovereign YAHWEH;
24 That you have also built to you an eminent place, and has made you an high place in every street.
25 You have built your high place at every head of the way, and has made your beauty to be abhorred, and has opened your feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied your whoredoms.
26 You have also committed fornication with the Egyptians your neighbors, great of flesh; and has increased your whoredoms, to provoke ME to anger.
27 Behold, therefore I have stretched out MY hand over you, and have diminished your ordinary food, and delivered you to the will of them that hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of your lewd way.
28 You have played the whore also with the Assyrians, because you were unsatiable; yes, you have played the harlot with them, and yet could not be satisfied.
29 You have moreover multiplied your fornication in the land of Canaan to Chaldea; and yet you were not satisfied herewith.
30 How weak is your heart, saith the Sovereign YAHWEH, seeing you do all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;
31 In that you build your eminent place in the head of every way, and make your high place in every street; and has not been as an harlot, in that you scorn hire;
32 But as a wife that commits adultery, which takes strangers instead of her husband!
33 They give gifts to all whores: but you give your gifts to all your lovers, and hire them, that they may come to you on every side for your whoredom.
34 And the contrary is in you from other women in your whoredoms, whereas none follows you to commit whoredoms: and in that you give a reward, and no reward is given to you, therefore you are contrary.

YAHWEH will Expose Our Filthiness, Nakedness and our Whoredoms with Our Lovers

35 ś Wherefore, O harlot, hear the Word of YAHWEH:
36 Thus saith the Sovereign YAHWEH; Because your filthiness was poured out, and your nakedness discovered through your whoredoms with your lovers, and with all the idols of your abominations, and by the blood of your children, which you did give to them;
37 Behold, therefore I will gather all your lovers, with whom you have taken pleasure, and all them that you have loved, with all them that you have hated; I will even gather them round about against you, and will discover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.
38 And I will judge you, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give you blood in fury and jealousy.
39 And I will also give you into their hand, and they shall throw down your eminent place, and shall break down your high places: they shall strip you also of your clothes, and shall take your beautiful jewels, and leave you naked and bare.
40 They shall also bring up a company against you, and they shall stone you with stones, and thrust you through with their swords.
41 And they shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments upon you in the sight of many women: and I will cause you to cease from playing the harlot, and you also shall give no hire anymore.
42 So will I make MY fury toward you to rest, and MY jealousy shall depart from you, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
43 Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, but have fretted ME in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense your way upon your head, saith the Sovereign YAHWEH: and you shall not commit this lewdness above all your abominations.
44 ś Behold, every one that uses proverbs shall use this proverb against you, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

Believers Are Cautioned Against False Teachers, And The Certainty Of Their Punishment Shown From Examples

KEPHA -2- PETER 2:1-22

1 ś But there were pseudo prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Master that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of Truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 ś And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
4 For if YAHWEH spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved to judgment;
5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example to those that after should live ungodly;
7 ś And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the torahless wicked:
8 For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their torahless deeds;
9 YAHWEH knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished:

An Account Of These Seducers, As Exceedingly Wicked

10 ś But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 Whereas malakim, which are greater in strength and might, bring not railing accusation against them before YAHWEH.
12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

But As Making High Pretences To Liberty And Purity

17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Savior YAHSHUA ha MessiYah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the kodesh commandment delivered to them.
22 But it is happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
