Sarah's Daughters
Having a faithful prayer life
Victory Community is a place where young people can live free from the
influence of this world. A place where teenagers have the opportunity to do
right. I thank YAHWEH that I am one of the young daughters that live in this
community. We have recently started a program for the young daughters called
"Sarah's Daughters".
This program is designed for girls ages thirteen to twenty-five. Our meetings are held on Day 1- (Sunday) at 6:00 pm. We begin our meetings with prayer, and a song. After devotion Sister Jean, Sister La'Queila, and Sister Stacey instruct us on how to praise YAHWEH, and how to dance before HIM. We are also instructed how to dress properly, how to conduct ourselves as being "Sarah's Daughters". Kepha Alef- (1Peter) 3:6 tells us about being "Sarah's Daughters", "even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him master; whose daughters you are as long as you do well, and are not afraid with any amazement".
A special emphasis is placed on having a faithful prayer life. Prayer is where we get our strength to walk righteous, and to be sober. We have been given prayer partners to encourage us to press into the secret place of the Most High. Our prayer partners are Sister Debra, Sister La'Queila, Sister Stacey, Sister Jean, Sister Wendy and Sister Ebony. We are also taught how to be sober, and not to act foolish. The Scriptures tells us not to be given to much foolishness. Mishle (Proverbs) 9:13 says, "A foolish woman is clamorous. She is simple, and knows nothing." YAHWEH commands us to obey our parents in all things. Thank YAHWEH for HIS righteous instruction.
