HOSHEA - HOSEA 1:1 The Word of YAHWEH that came to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of UzziYah, Yotham, Ahaz, and HezekiYah, kings of Yahudah, and in the days of Yeroboam the son of Joash, king of Yisrael.
HOSHEA - HOSEA 1:2 The beginning of the Word of YAHWEH by Hosea. And YAHWEH said to Hosea, Go, take to you a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land has committed great whoredom, departing from YAHWEH.
HOSHEA - HOSEA 1:3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.
YAHWEH's Judgments Against The Sins Of The People
HOSHEA - HOSEA 4:1 Hear the Word of YAHWEH, you children of Yisrael: for YAHWEH has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of YAHWEH in the land.
HOSHEA - HOSEA 4:2 By swearing, and lying, and murdering, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood touches blood.

Exhortation And Proclamation Respecting Those Who Went To War
DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 20:3 And shall say to them, Hear YisraYah, you approach {kaw-rab' enter into, draw near} this day to battle {mil-khaw-maw'} against your enemies {o-yabe'}: let not your levim faint {raw-kak' be soft, be weak, be timid, be fearful, penitent} fear not, and do not tremble {khaw-faz' flee, hasten} neither be you terrified {aw-rats' oppress, to regard/treat with awe} because of them.
faint {aw-taf'} to turn aside, be feeble, grow weak.
DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 20:8 And the officers {sho-tare'} shall speak further to the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted {lay-bawb' inner man, mind, will, heart, soul, understanding}? let him go and return to his house, lest his brother's lev faint {maw-sas' to waste with disease, worthless, grow fearful} as well as his lev.
*The difference between a solider and a warrior
DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 20:9 And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking to the people, that they shall make captains {sar} of the armies to lead {roshe' head, top, summit} the people.
KOHETET - ECCLESIASTES 3:8 A time {ayth} to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of shalom.
YESHAYAH - ISAIAH 48:22 There is no shalom (completeness, soundness, friendship, health, prosperity, quiet, tranquility, contentment) says YHWH, to the wicked.
TIMOTHIYAH -2- TIMOTHY 2:4 No man that goes to battle entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.
SIRACH 2:13 Woe to him that is fainthearted {lay-bawb'}! for it has no trust {baw-takh'}! Therefore it will not be sheltered and defended.
Gideon's Army Reduced
SHOPHETIM - JUDGES 7:1 Then Yerubbaal {yer-oob-bah'-al' let Baal contend} who is Gid'own, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites {mid-yawn' strife} were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.
SHOPHETIM - JUDGES 7:2 And YHWH said to Gid'own, The people that are with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest YisraYah vaunt {paw-ar' beautify, adorn} themselves against ME, saying, my own hand has saved me.
*Sure sign to ferry out those that are not YisraYah
SHOPHETIM - JUDGES 7:3 Now therefore go proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid {khaw-rade' trembling} let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned from the people twenty two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
SHOPHETIM - JUDGES 7:4 And YHWH said to Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down to the water {tsaw-raf' to smelt, refine, test, purge away} and I will try them for you there: and it shall be, that of whom I say to you, This shall go with you, the same shall go with you; and of whomsoever I say to you, This shall not go with you, the same shall not go.
SHOPHETIM - JUDGES 7:5 So he brought down the people to the water: and YHWH said to Gideon, Every one that laps of the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, him shall you set by himself; likewise every one that bows down upon his knees to drink.
SHOPHETIM - JUDGES 7:6 And the number of them that lapped {law-kak'} putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.
SHOPHETIM - JUDGES 7:7 And YHWH said to Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand: and let all the other people go every man to his place.
*If one is not ready to deal with the enemies of YisraYah restoration and victory, it’s better for that individual to go home, lest he bring fear, doubt and unbelief, to those who have heard YHWH’s call in this final hour.
Parable Of The Great Supper-A certain man made a great supper, and invited many.

LUKAS - LUKE 14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray you have me excused.
LUKAS - LUKE 14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
