Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty:

Respect of Persons.

In Hebrew, the expression refers literally tothe lifting up of the face” of another person

while in the Greek it meansto receive the face” of someone or to accept his external appearance as the real thing and to make an evaluation on that basis.

One of the Characteristics that belong to the wise

Prov. 24:23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

Judging For Yahweh Not for Man

Chronicles 19:5-8 And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city, 6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment. 7 Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

Peter Sent by Yahweh (You do not know who Abba will send you to (You do not minister with respect of persons)

Psalm 82:2-4 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. 3 Defendb the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. 4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Showing partiality in the instruction

Malachi 2:7- 9 For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. 8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. 9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

Doing nothing in a spirit of partiality

1 Timothy 5:18-21 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. 19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but beforec two or three witnesses. 20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Showing Partality makes you a Transgressor of the Royal Law

James 2:7 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
