Keep on Walking by Faith
Most of us know how difficult it can be to keep our weight down. Through YAHSHUA MESSIYAH we can have VICTORY in this area of our lives. Walking is one great way to accomplish this.
In 1994, I began to walk about two miles per day at a quick pace. Immediately, I began to see changes in my appearance. I started drinking more water (about 8 glasses/day) and dropped my fat intake down to about 15-20 grams a day, eating mostly fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. The weight simply came off and quickly. I lost 60 pounds in about 6-8 months. Wow, I didn’t know it could be so easy.
Maintaining has taken more effort than losing. After having two children in the last two years, walking has helped me with this. In my closing, I would like to encourage any sister who wants to drop pounds or just wants to feel better and more rejuvenated, to begin walking two miles per day at a quick pace. (Or a pace that’s comfortable to you if the quick pace is too strenuous.)
YAHWEH is our VICTORY.
