YAHWEH Will Establish HIS People
Praise YAHWEH! All you HIS people. My name is Brother Charles Brassfield, giving my testimony of being established. Devarim (Deuteronomy) 28:9 YAHWEH shall establish you a SetApart people unto HIMSELF, as HE hath sworn unto you, if you shall keep the Commandments of YAHWEH your ABBA and walk in HIS ways.
I bless YAHWEH that HE is establishing HIS people. Before YAHWEH brought me, my wife and daughter out into the wilderness, we were in bondage in Egypt. Egypt being the world, our natural family that doesn't love YAHWEH, bills, trying to make ends meet, and keeping up with the Jones. YAHWEH heard our cry. We wanted the Truth, the Word of YAHWEH. Before coming into the knowledge of the Truth of the NAME of YAHWEH, YAHWEH parted the Red Sea in our lives so HE could separate us from the world to establish us.
Love Not The World, Neither The Things That Are In The World
My wife and I came out of the Pentecostal Churches; where they teach the world consisting of smoking, drinking, movies, and cursing. Yeah I did it all, but after repenting of my sins, I knew there was more to this walk. Yochanan Alef- (1John) 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the ABBA is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the ABBA, but is of the world, and the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of YAHWEH abides forever. The first thing we had to do was move away from our family that doesn’t love YAHWEH. Our material family will not draw us closer to YAHWEH, but away from YAHWEH. Once our desire was to be around natural kinsmen, the lust of the flesh. Once our desire was to have a fine house, the lust of the eyes. Once our desire was to have nice paying jobs, travel and to attend family reunions, the pride of life is not of the ABBA, but is of the world. These things are going to pass away.
Years before I met my wife, on the way to a family reunion in the Mid-West I was traveling on a train when I met a pastor that was from Africa. We had fellowship in the dining car. I didn't know him, but he gave words of great strength. He said, "You have a lot of zeal but no knowledge, you need someone to teach you." I had no problem with what he said, but I asked myself where? And who? At that time I was attending a Pentecostal Church, getting the same old messages prosperity, God wants you to have the best, he wants you rich. I couldn't receive those messages, because I would wonder about the people in Africa, and other poor nations that love YAHWEH. And they don't have these things.
An Agreement That We Needed Someone To Teach Us
YAHWEH blessed me at 29 to marry my wife, and my best friend Wendy. She was always praying. I thank YAHWEH for waiting. As YAHWEH took the rib out of Adam to make Eve, it was told to me your rib is out there, just wait on it. An old saying good things come to those that wait. I like what the Word of YAHWEH says, Mishle (Proverbs) 18:22. Whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour of YAHWEH. It blessed my heart that my wife and I were in an agreement that we needed someone to teach us.
We came out of the Pentecostal Church when coming into the knowledge of keeping YAHWEH'S Commandments. We started keeping the Shabbat, but we had no one to fellowship with. We prayed and YAHWEH answered. That is when we met Pastor Roberts. I didn't like him at all. It was like running into a brick wall. We were so carnal. This was the first preacher to ever deal with our sins. In the church world they don't do that. So YAHWEH had to start establishing us in this area. I asked myself is this it or what? But I was reminded of the Pastor on the train, saying you need someone to teach you. Yeah but by this man? He doesn't seem nice, but yet he was. I was also reminded that YAHWEH'S people are sottish. They have not known ME, they are foolish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil; but to do good they have no knowledge.
I thought of my wife and daughter. I needed to be taught to lead them. Pastor Roberts seemed so hard but yet he was softhearted, watching out for our souls. We would attend services every other Shabbat, living 2 hours away from Victory Community. We later moved closer to the Community, 3 miles away. I got a job being an electrician's helper. I later became a lead man and had helpers. I thank YAHWEH for teaching me to learn a trade, a job where I actually sweat. On Sundays we would work on the community and have good meals.
Being With The People Of YAHWEH Helps You To See Your Flaws
When living out by yourself you don't see your wrong, your flaws, nor your self-righteousness. It's not good for man to dwell alone, so YAHWEH gave man a woman, but HE also gave man brothers so that we can be our brother's keeper. Tehillim (Psalms) 133:1 Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. I remember the words of Pastor Roberts before we moved on the community, "This isn't a play thing."
I looked up the word establish: to institute (as a law) permanently by enactment or agreement, as the children of Yisrael agreed to keep YAHWEH'S Commandment, so did we. It says to settle: We want to be settled, rooted and grounded in YAHWEH. To make firm or stable, to be stable and not double minded. To introduce and cause to grow and multiply, Kepha (Peter) tells us to grow in love and in the knowledge of YAHSHUA MESSIYAH. To put beyond doubt, I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up SetApart hands without wrath and doubting. Here we live at Victory Community having YAHWEH to establish us in HIS faith.
A Man Of YAHWEH To Teach Us
Our prayer has been answered; we have a man of YAHWEH to teach us. I'm learning to be more sociable, now that I live with my brothers and sisters in YAHWEH. Now we know what love is...TRUTH. For YAHWEH is Truth. I pray that this testimony will bless whoever reads it.
MattithYah (Matthew) 24:13 "But he that shall endure unto the end; the same shall be saved." Pray for us that YAHWEH will keep us, establish us in HIS faith, and that we endure to the end.
