My Life as a Young Saint
As a young boy, I was blessed to have saved parents to instill character and principles in my life. Being young, I never knew or understood anything about salvation. The things I have learned in life were taught by my parents and those who were older who had a personal experience with YAHSHUA MESSIYAH. It was beneficial as a child to have a man of YAHWEH in my life who believed in SetApart pureness and a close walk with ABBA- (FATHER) YAHWEH.
At an early age in life, YAHWEH placed our family under our shepherd: Pastor David Roberts. Before I was born YAHWEH placed our Pastor in my mother's life. Much like any other young person I would have been lost, except for YAHWEH's Sovereign mercy, HE chose to save a sinner like me. I'm thankful to YAHWEH that HE has placed a strong Shepherd in my life to instruct me in the ways of righteousness. Many young men are not as blessed as I am to have examples and instructors in righteousness to impart sound principles in their lives. I thank YAHWEH each day for sending HIS only Son YAHSHUA to the stake- (cross) that I might be worthy to be called HIS Son. Most of all I'm ever so thankful to see both of my brothers saved, but not just my biological brothers, but all those who are striving for life and SetApart Pureness, through the knowledge of HIM that hath called us to excellence and virtue. I marvel how YAHWEH has kept us from our youth up. Most of us were young boys when we met one the other, but now we are all young men. It's only the power of YAHWEH that has kept us unspotted from the world. Scripture says in Kepha Bet (2 Peter) 1:3, "According as HIS anointed power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and SetApart Pureness, through the knowledge of HIM that hath called us to excellence and virtue." Kepha Bet 1:4 states, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the SetApart nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
How was I saved? Before I was even born, YAHWEH had chosen me from the beginning of time. YAHWEH turned my obedience into maturity to realize what salvation is truly about. In Tehillim (Psalms) 13:5 it says, "But I have trusted in YOUR mercy; my heart shall rejoice in YOUR salvation. Tehillim (Psalms) 13: 6 states, " I will sing unto YAHWEH, because HE hath dealt bountifully with me. Tehillim (Psalms) 18:35, "YOU have also given me the shield of YOUR salvation: and YOUR right hand has held me up, and YOUR gentleness has made me great. Wherefore seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin that doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Ivrim (Hebrews)12: 2, "Looking unto YAHSHUA the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before HIM endured the stake (cross), despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of throne of YAHWEH. Ivrim 12:3, " for consider HIM that endured such contradiction of sinners against HIMSELF, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.
Whenever I feel discouraged or weary I consider HIM. That's my only strength each day, because I believe in a better resurrection of the saints, which is to those who believe and trust in HIS NAME. I hope that my testimony will inspire your heart, whether you are young or old. May the peace of YAHWEH rule in your hearts, until next time, HalleluYah.
